A man whose identity remain unknown has allegedly killed his wife by striking her on the head with a hammer after accusing her of engaging in video calls with other men.
The suspect who was immediately taken into custody recounted what happened in a video sighted by News Band Newspaper.
He claimed that he had repeatedly warned his wife against communicating with other men, but she did not heed his warnings.
He even escalated the matter by informing her mother, yet the amorous behavior continued.
The man also mentioned a period during which he was hospitalized and he learnt that his wife frequently spent nights away from home, only returning the following day.
This tragic occurrence took place shortly after his discharge from the hospital.
Argument reportedly erupted between the couple over her video calls with other men, which unfortunately led him to assault her with a hammer.
Though, this medium could not independently verify the actual state in Nigeria where the incident took place.
