Manchester United dressing room split over Mason Greenwood treatment

The Manchester United dressing room is reportedly divided over whether it’s right to wash their hands with Mason Greenwood.

Greenwood is accused of rape, assault, sexual assault and threats to kill. He is currently out on bail as the police continue their investigations into his alleged wrongdoing.

Since the allegations came to light, multiple Man United players have been spotted unfollowing their teammate on social media, a clear sign of disgust with his alleged actions.

However, is it right for the players to have turned their backs on their teammate before he has even been charged, let alone convicted, of any offence?

That’s the debate which is ongoing in the Man United dressing room at current, according to The Sun.

The report notes that a rift has emerged between the players who don’t see eye to eye on the matter, with some arguing that Greenwood should not be ostracised.

One player, as per the report, is “furious” with the reaction of the Man United dressing room.

It’s the last thing that Ralf Rangnick needs as he looks to steer Man United into the Champions League qualification positions.
