Marriage, not my prayer point — Ini Edo

Nollywood actress Iniobong Edo has revealed that marriage is no longer a priority, as it’s not part of her current prayers or hopes.

The screen diva disclosed this during an interview with PREMIUM TIMES.

Though, this is coming after the star actress shared a post in September that suggested she was getting married.

The actress had shared a photo of herself dressed in a traditional Efik bridal gown, leading fans to believe she was engaged and preparing for a wedding.

Her caption, which mentioned love and encouraged her followers to believe in happiness, only fueled the gossip further.

She also mentioned that her fairy tale wedding was happening in December.

However, speaking during the interview, Ini Edo clarified that the post was part of a promotion for her upcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding, and not an engagement announcement.

When asked about her thoughts on marriage, the actress revealed, “I’m not crazy about marriage; I’m crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points.”

The 42-year-old married Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina on 29 November 2008 in the United States, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2014.
