Ochoudo Martin Agbaso has distanced himself from a purported “propaganda story” which, according to him, is meant to detract him from his commitment to Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi

Agbaso made the remarks in a statement he personally signed and made available to News Band on Thursday.

He stated categorically that ‘the paragraph that relates to him in the fabricated story is completely false and a handiwork of desperate politicians’.

He stressed that his full allegiance is to Labour Party and that he is pleased with the candidacy of Peter Obi as the presidential candidate for the upcoming presidential election.

The statement reads in part: “My attention has been drawn to a propaganda story titled “How Hope Uzodimma hijacked Peter Obi’s Labour Party in Imo”.

“I wish to alert the general public that the paragraph that relates to me in the fabricated story is completely false and a handiwork of desperate politicians.
