MASSOB warns against linking IPOB with killings in S/East
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has condemned the spate of criminal killings and political witch-hunting in Anambra state.
This was contained in a press release signed by MASSOB National Director of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel.
Comrade Samuel noted that the unnecessary shedding of blood and painful killings of Innocent citizens is grievously magneting more destructive calamities in Igbo land.
He warned perpetrators of this violence and criminal acts of the dire consequences of turning Igbo land to security tensions. It will scare the people of Biafra away from returning home during Yuletide season
Samuel also advised those using the name of IPOB to cause havoc in Igbo land to stay away from entire Biafra land or face the wrath of Ndigbo and MASSOB.
“It is clear that our enemies are using the name of IPOB and Biafra to destroy Igbo land. There is no any genuine Biafra agitators including IPOB that will ever involved himself in criminal activities,” he said.
According to him, MASSOB security intelligence report shows that the federal government sponsored Fulani terrorist herdsmen are responsible for the destructions of properties, stealing, and kidnapping in the name of enforcing sit at home order.
“These hoodlums who went about setting vehicles ablaze, killing and destroying the economy of Ndigbo are nothing but criminals being sponsored and backed by the Fulani cabals to destroy Igbo land but they will never succeed,” he stated.
MASSOB urged Igbo leaders to stop blaming IPOB and other pro Biafra agitators as the perpetrators of the criminal acts.
The group assured the sponsors and perpetrators of these violent and criminal activities in Igbo land that they will never succeed in destroying Igbo land because MASSOB and other pro-Biafra groups will always protect Biafra land.
