Nigerian businesswoman Ehi Ogbebor has spoken about her relationship with transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, while addressing claims surrounding her romantic life.
According to Ehi, MC Oluomo, whom she refers to as Ayinde, is one of her closest friends and the only married man she has dated.
“MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde, as I call him, is the only man I dated as a married man, but he’s Muslim. I don’t snatch people’s husbands,” she said.
Her comments have sparked reactions online, particularly because of her admission that she previously dated a married man.
Ehi, however, maintained that she does not deliberately pursue or “snatch” other women’s husbands, pointing to MC Oluomo’s Muslim faith in explaining the circumstances surrounding their relationship.
The businesswoman’s statement has since reignited discussions about relationships involving married people, religious beliefs and the boundaries surrounding friendships and romance.
Her remarks remain the subject of online debate as social media users share differing views about her explanation.
