Erica Nlewedim, former BBNaija housemate has said submission should be be earned and not demanded.
She argued men have no business demanding submission from females simply because of they’re males.
Erica argued a woman will naturally submit to a man who has earned it that is, at the point when she eventually feels safe and comfortable with that man.
She wrote: “Don’t demand submission from people you have no right to ask that from. Some guys ask females to be submissive simply cos they’re male and not that they’ve earned it.
“It’s something a woman will give freely when/if she feels safe and comfortable and definitely not to all men.”
Erica’s assertion was prompted after a fan asked a follow-up question to her about submission in relation to feminism.
The reality TV star while quizzing her fans on first date question revealed only love could make her submissive because she’s an absolute feminist.
“First date question: do you have a problem with feminists? Cos I’m a feminine feminist. Only love can make me submissive”, she tweeted.
Kolade in his response posed a question to Erica, he wrote: “And is not being submissive feminism?”
