Nigerian actress and filmmaker Mercy Johnson-Okojie has stirred inspiration online after sharing a deeply reflective message about faith, grace, and the sovereignty of God.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the screen star reminded followers that God’s judgment and decisions are far beyond human understanding or public opinion.
“God is not a man. He does not judge as men judge, nor does He bow to the opinions, mockery, or decisions of people,” she wrote.
The actress emphasised that divine grace has the power to overturn human rejection, noting that what people dismiss or condemn can still be restored and redeemed by God.
“What men reject, God can restore. What men condemn, God can redeem.”
She further encouraged her audience to remain steadfast, even in the face of criticism or misunderstanding, stressing that God’s blessings are not dictated by societal approval.
According to her, one of life’s greatest freedoms comes from letting go of the need for validation.
“True peace comes when your confidence is rooted in God, not in people’s opinions,” she added.
Mercy Johnson also described God as a giver of second chances, fresh beginnings, and unexpected favour someone who writes stories that often leave doubters in awe.
Closing her message, she urged people to stay faithful and grateful, regardless of external noise.
“Let people talk. Let them misunderstand… Human conversations never cancel God’s plans.”
Her post has since resonated with many online, sparking conversations about faith, resilience, and the importance of inner peace in a world driven by public opinion.
