Miserable Manchester United defeated at home by Wolves

Manchester United’s abysmal Premier League campaign continued with a 0-1 defeat against Wolves at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Marking their 15th loss of the season, the Red Devils lost all three points after Pablo Sarabia converted a superb free-kick to find the back of the net.

The defeat is Manchester United’s lowest-ever points tally, while their opponents celebrated their fifth consecutive win.

The first half saw Christian Eriksen’s attempt saved by Jose Sa, with Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund failing to score after coming close to doing so.

Wolves played with more urgency during the second half, leading to Sarabia’s 7th-minute free-kick that zoomed past Andre Onana.

United had their best chance at an equaliser with Bruno Fernandes, but a miss ensured that there was no comeback after the game came to an end.
