Mohbad’s Sister Reveals Bloody Clues, Phone Fight After Death
DDM News

LAGOS — The younger sister of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has raised fresh suspicions about the circumstances surrounding his death, sharing chilling revelations during an interview with controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the sister, whose name was not disclosed in the video, recounted disturbing scenes she encountered at Mohbad’s residence following his passing on September 12, 2022, a death that has since sparked national outrage and widespread demands for justice.
According to her, she discovered blood-stained items in the singer’s house, particularly a singlet and a duvet, raising troubling questions about what truly happened before his death.
“There was blood all over the singlet,” she said.
She further revealed that another sister, who was present at the scene, claimed to have just finished washing Mohbad’s duvet because, in her words, “the blood was too much.”
Adding to the suspicions, she alleged that on the day Mohbad died, his wife Wunmi fought to retrieve his mobile phone, nearly resulting in a physical altercation.
This detail, she believes, could be key in understanding the final moments before his death.
“She (Wunmi) fought over his phone after he died,” the sister stated, implying the phone might contain vital information.
She also urged VeryDarkMan, who has been leading an online campaign for justice, to investigate one of Mohbad’s close friends, whom she suspects may be withholding critical information about the case.
Since the artist’s sudden and controversial passing, the public has remained alarmed by the silence of authorities and the lack of progress in the investigation.
Allegations have swirled around issues such as domestic abuse, medical negligence, and possible industry-related intimidation.
VeryDarkMan, known for his bold exposés and fierce activism, has continued to rally support from Nigerians demanding accountability.
He has consistently questioned the silence of law enforcement and stakeholders in the music industry.
This latest revelation from the late singer’s sister has reignited anger online, especially as it comes nearly three years after his death.
Many believe the case has been deliberately buried despite early signs that something sinister may have occurred.
Mohbad, who was previously signed to Marlian Records, had severed ties with the label under controversial circumstances.
Fans have repeatedly alleged that he was subjected to harassment and threats prior to his death, a claim still under investigation.
Authorities have yet to respond to the sister’s latest allegations, but growing pressure from the public and online activists may force a renewed look into the case.
With questions lingering about the blood-stained items, the phone dispute, and who was present at the time of Mohbad’s death, Nigerians continue to demand one thing: the truth.
