On this day nationally set aside to honour Christian Mothers, I join in saluting and appreciating them, wherever they may be.
I congratulate all the Christian Mothers as they mark their Mothering Sunday celebration and appreciate their diligent efforts in keeping the homes and families together and building the nation through their collective and fervent prayers.
Our society is made better by their individual and collective presence.
To be a Mother is a divine gift and privilege from God.
It confers huge responsibilities, yet remains a serious answer to vocation by women to be partakers in God’s creation and ensuring life continuity.
May your collective resilience and perseverance in making the family the anchor of the stable society endure.
