Nigerian music superstar, Mayorkun, has revealed that he will conduct a DNA test before accepting any child as his own.
While speaking on a recent episode of the In My Opinion podcast, the Afrobeats star said he had already told his girlfriend that he intends to sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding and to conduct a DNA test whenever she gives birth.
Mayorkun, 32, said his girlfriend was unhappy about it, but that he would go ahead with the plan regardless.
“I told my girlfriend we’d have to do a prenup and DNA test when she gives me a child, just to be sure. She got upset,” he said.
“I have thought of doing the DNA test without telling her. If it is my child, no issues. If not, everybody will hear about it.”
