Nigerian content creator Celynukam has raised alarm over alleged threats and emotional abuse from her estranged fiancé, claiming that both her safety and that of her newborn child are at risk.
The new mother made the claims in a series of posts shared via her Instagram Story, where she detailed her experiences following the birth of her baby. According to her, she has been solely responsible for caring for the child after undergoing a Caesarean section, a period she described as both physically and emotionally demanding.
Celynukam alleged that her estranged partner has issued repeated threats to take custody of the baby against her will. She further claimed that he warned he could forcefully enter her home and remove the child, with intentions of relocating the baby abroad.
“As a nursing mother, my life is currently not safe in Lagos. After getting a caesarean section and taking care of my newborn all alone, they would threaten to come break down my door and take away my child to another country if I don’t do this or that,” she wrote.
Beyond the alleged threats, the content creator suggested that she endured emotional distress throughout the course of the relationship. Her statements paint a picture of ongoing intimidation, which she says has left her feeling unsafe and vulnerable during a critical stage of motherhood.
Her revelations have sparked widespread concern across social media, with many users expressing sympathy and calling for support and protection for her and her child. Some have also urged relevant authorities to look into the matter to ensure her safety.
