N300m For Ramadan Feeding Programme, By Kano State

Three Hundred Million Naira (N300m), has been approved for Ramadan feeding programme this Ramadan period, says the Kano State Government.

The Ramadan programme is scheduled to start on the 27th of May 2017.

The state government said the amount is in preparation for the Ramadan, this is made known through the Chairman of the programme, Malam Ibrahim Kankarofi.

This was made known at the meeting held with the coordinators of the feeding centres at Government House, Kano on Friday.

The Chairman of the programme said the state government had made adequate preparations to ensure the success of the programme across the 44 local government areas of the state.

He warned against diversion of foot items, stating that offenders will be adequately polished.
