NDDC Forensic Audit: Buhari has sinister agenda – Lawyer

on

Barrister Eze Eluche has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has a sinister agenda when he ordered a forensic audit of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The lawyer in a video interview with ElombahNews said the forensic audit being carried out by federal agents is an agenda to embarrass the people of the niger delta region by making them believe they are their own enemy.

He said, “The NDDC probe has two reasons, one of the reason is very sinister, it is to tell the people of Niger Delta that they have been clamouring for 13 percent but, we have given your people the 13 percent and see how they are stealing it.

“It is about to give its report, it is about; ‘you asked for it and we have given it to you, now see how your people are dealing with you and unfortunately’, some of them unfortunately are accepting that narrative.

“The issue should be beyond that, nothing will come out from the probe, no recovery of the fund, nothing will come out of it.

“Looking at the NDDC MD, how he fainted in the National Assembly, it is just a charade.

“The billions being mentioned is just peanuts compared to what is going on elsewhere.

“Ironically, when the NDDC issue is still going on, N100 billion was said to have been missing from North East Development Commission. A commission that is just two years old, and already N100 billion has gone! and nobody is talking about it.”
