(DDM) – Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly accused his actress wife, Regina Daniels, of drug and alcohol abuse, alleging that her actions have caused violence, destruction, and fear in their marital home.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the Delta North lawmaker made the shocking claims in a Facebook post on Sunday titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence.”
In the post, Nwoko alleged that Regina’s substance abuse was the root cause of their marital crisis, warning that her current environment gives her “unrestricted access to drugs,” which, according to him, poses a serious threat to her health and safety.
He stated that Regina must continue her rehabilitation program either in Asokoro or abroad, preferably in Jordan, where he believes she would not have access to drugs or enabling influences.
“Regina was not always like this,” Nwoko wrote. “Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
The senator further claimed that Regina had recently assaulted three members of his domestic staff and destroyed property, including cars and windows, without provocation.
He alleged that the violent incident occurred while he took their son, Moon, to the hospital, during which chaos erupted at home allegedly instigated by one of Regina’s drug suppliers.
“Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs,” Nwoko alleged. “I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting staff and destroying property for no just cause.”
He also accused Regina of threatening to kill a resident nurse who reportedly exposed her alleged drug abuse, adding that the situation at home had become “dangerous and unpredictable.”
According to Nwoko, the “scene of chaos” was orchestrated by Sammy, whom he identified as Regina’s “main drug supplier.” He further named another alleged supplier as “the tiny evil devil called Ann,” claiming both individuals are part of the network enabling Regina’s addiction.
The senator emphasized that his demand for her to resume rehabilitation is not punitive but a necessary step to save her life.
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital,” he added. “Instead, she descended into rage, attacking staff and creating destruction in my absence.”
The explosive revelation has since gone viral across social media, sparking widespread debate about the couple’s private life and raising concerns about domestic stability, addiction recovery, and public accountability among Nigeria’s high-profile figures.
Neither Regina Daniels nor her representatives have publicly responded to the allegations as of press time.
Analysts told DDM that the controversy, if confirmed, could have serious personal and public implications for both the actress, one of Nollywood’s most followed stars, and her husband, a sitting senator representing Delta North in the National Assembly.
The situation has also reignited conversations on mental health and substance abuse awareness among Nigerian celebrities, many of whom face enormous public pressure and scrutiny while navigating fame and family.
