New Army Commander, NSCDC to synergise for improved Anambra security

NSCDC Anambra State Command bulletin — The Commander 302 Artillery Regiment Nigerian Army Onitsha , Colonel AA Sambo has called for improved synergy between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The Commander made the call on Wednesday 10/02/2021 during a courtesy visit he paid to Commandant David Bille, FCIA , the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, in his office in Awka.

Col. Sambo stated that he was aware of the good working relationship existing between the two agencies and promised to solidify the relationship which formed the purpose of his visit.

He appreciated the role of NSCDC as a critical partner in the security architecture of this country hence the need to collaborate with the Army for effective service delivery.

In his remarks, the State Commandant of NSCDC Anambra State Command, Comdt. David Bille, FCIA, commended the Commander for the visit describing it as timely.

He assured the Commander of his continued support and cooperation at all times.

While wishing the new Commander a happy stay in Anambra, he solicited the support of the Nigerian Army in capacity building of Officers and Men of NSCDC in the State.

The visit ended with both service commanders pledging to sustain the relatively peace in the State.
