NFF President Amaju Pinnick honoured at The Sun Awards

Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Melvin Pinnick was again in positive spotlight on Saturday as he was named Sports Personality of the Year at the glamourous THE SUN Awards.

Former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was named The SUN MAN OF THE YEAR.

The colourful event held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites was graced by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Pinnick, whose 17-month old NFF administration has scooped four major trophies and excelled off field, was in company of his gorgeous wife, Julie and NFF Vice Presidents Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko.

There were also member of the executive committee, Otunba Sunday Dele- Ajayi, Chairman of Edo State Football Association Frank Ilaboya, President of FROT Group, Frank Momoh and NFF Assistant Director (Communications) Ademola Olajire.

A joyous Pinnick aptly dedicated the award to members of the NFF Executive Committee, Management and the Congress, as well as his understanding family.

He pledged that the present NFF administration will continue to make efforts, policies and decisions that are in the best interest of Nigeria football.
