Ngige Keeps APC Guessing, As Odedo Joins Anambra Guber Race

Hon Charles Chinwendu Odedo, a former member of the Federal House of Reps for Idemili Federal constituency has yesterday declared interest to run for Governorship seat of Anambra state in the coming Nov 18 election.

The declaration, which took place at Nnobi, Idemili South Council, saw a crowd of party faithfuls from across the state in attendance. 

But with the absence of the former governor and Minister of Labour/Employment, Sen Chris Ngige has continued to prolong the guess about whether he is joining the race or not.

The rumour of Ngige guber interest has gained currency in the country and his absence at Odedo’s declaration, known to be his close political ally without a word has made matters worst.

Odedo is  a man of track record of achievements who is widely loved and appreciated by his constituents because of his many achievements, constituents’ appreciation projects that have touched almost every household, his charisma and interpersonal relationship with them.

He said he would make human resource development his main focus.

His emergence now brings to about 14 the number of aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party. 

He has listed 10-point agenda for the state, including security, health, Agric, oil/gas, erosion control, and power.
