Nigerian-born teenager Moses Itauma wins WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Title

In a dominant display of power and skill, Nigerian-born British pugilist, Moses Itauma stopped Ilja Mezencev in just two rounds to claim the WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight championship title.

The 19-year-old boxer remains unbeaten, moving to 9-0 in professional appearances, and announced himself as a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division.

Itauma’s victory marks his first belt, and he is now poised to become the youngest heavyweight champion since Mike Tyson, a record he has openly stated he is gunning for.
