Nnabuike Chisom, a Nigerian Master’s graduate from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, has captured widespread admiration after delivering a powerful keynote speech in fluent Mandarin.

Representing international students, Chisom spoke with confidence and poise, reflecting on his remarkable journey from having no prior knowledge of the Chinese language to commanding the stage in one of the world’s most widely spoken languages.

In his address, he praised China’s openness and the opportunities it offers to international students, highlighting how his academic and cultural experiences have shaped his personal growth.

Looking ahead, he revealed plans to pursue a PhD in China, with a long-term vision of strengthening cultural and educational ties between China and Africa.
