No Solution In Sight To Electricity Problem In Nigeria —Ben Bruce

‎Chairman, ‎Senate Committee on Privatisation, Senator Murray Ben Bruce on Wednesday disclosed that there is no solution in sight to electricity problem in Nigeria revealing that Federal government is indebted to Distribution Company (Disco) to the tune of N1 trillion.

Ben Bruce made this known while contribution to the debate on motion sponsored by Senator Dino Melaye on astronomical rise in the electricity bills across the country.

He explained that those who invested in power financial capacity to run the sector adding the investors though they will make money like communication sector.

He added that there is no way the country can enjoy stable electricity under the current structure in‎ the country calling on the Senate to revisit the Privatization of Power sector.

‎According to him, considering the current situation in power sector, there is no solution in sight to the current problem in the country electricity problem.
