The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has commenced a new round of admissions into its various academic programmes, offering a flexible and inclusive system that allows candidates to gain entry without sitting for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that this initiative is part of NOUN’s long-standing commitment to expanding access to education through open and distance learning.

The institution’s admission framework now accommodates candidates with different academic qualifications, making it easier for students across Nigeria and abroad to pursue university degrees at their own pace.

NOUN remains one of Nigeria’s largest and most accessible universities.

Established in 1983 and relaunched in 2002, the university was designed to meet the academic needs of working-class individuals, entrepreneurs, parents, and others seeking flexible higher education options.

As part of the current admission cycle, candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) and valid O’Level results can gain direct entry into 300 Level.

Those who possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or National Diploma (ND) with accompanying O’Level results can enter directly into 200 Level.

For recent secondary school graduates with WAEC, NECO, or GCE results, admission into 100 Level is also available.

Postgraduate programmes are equally open for application.

These include the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) for those looking to broaden their qualifications, and the Master’s Degree (M.Sc) for professionals seeking academic advancement and career growth.

Admissions are currently in progress, and prospective applicants are encouraged to begin the process immediately.

Intellicraft Academy is providing full guidance and support throughout the application, and can be reached at 08102900235.

NOUN’s “No JAMB Required” policy and its multiple direct entry options continue to make it a popular choice for Nigerians seeking accessible and quality higher education.
