NOUN Prof Njidda dies in fatal auto crash

Professor Ahmed Amin Njidda, the Dean of Faculty of Agriculture at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has died in a ghastly road crash.

He died on Saturday evening following an auto crash which occurred on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.

This was confirmed via the official Facebook page of NOUN.

“May the soul of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, NOUN, Professor Ahmed A. Njidda, rest in peace, amen. He died in a ghastly road accident about an hour ago on the Abuja-Kaduna road. He was at the NOUN headquarters in Abuja yesterday,” NOUN wrote.

Prof. Njidda was an animal nutritionist and biochemist. He was also a researcher in reproductive physiology and Animal Production and Management.

He earned his Ph.D. Animal Science in 2011; M.Sc. Animal Productions Management in 2002, and B.Sc. Animal Science in 1995.
