NRC partners with APM terminals to enhance cargo movement

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) recently established a significant partnership with APM Terminals.

This collaboration enhances cargo movement from Apapa port to Moniya.

This collaboration, announced last Thursday, aims to streamline logistics and improve efficiency in Nigerian cargo transport.

During a meeting, Kayode Opeifa, NRC’s managing director, engaged with APM Terminals’ delegates, including CEO Frederik Klinke and CCO Caroline Aubert-Adewuyi.

Akin Osinowo, NRC’s director of operations, represented Opeifa, focusing discussions on utilizing APM Terminals’ strengths in container freight transportation.

Furthermore, he assured NRC of APM Terminals’ dedication to enhancing turnaround efficiency at the port and increasing rail usage for efficient cargo transport.

Opeifa appreciated the long-term collaboration with APM Terminals, emphasizing the benefits for both parties over the decades.

He described the partnership as a win-win affair, stating, “We will prioritize the satisfaction of APMT and all railway customers.”
