The Anambra State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, has vowed to bridge every broken road in the state when elected as governor.

Mr. Chuma Nwosu also pledged to restore all broken promises made by previous administrations.

Nwosu also promised to connect every Local Government Area and rural community, especially those abandoned by previous administrations.

He made the promised while addressing ana enthusiastic crowd in the state over the weekend.

Speaking with Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) on such promises, a media aide to Nwosu, Mr. Paschal Azubuike told this medium:

“For too long, the people of Anambra have lived with dust in their lungs, mud on their feet, and disappointment in their hearts.

“The roads that should have carried opportunity to our villages became symbols of abandonment.

“Mothers have walked miles through flooded footpaths to reach markets.

“Farmers have lost harvests because trucks cannot access their communities.

“Children wake before dawn just to trek across broken terrain to school.

“Promises were made and abandoned like the roads themselves.

“Governments came, cut ribbons, mounted billboards, and disappeared, leaving us to struggle alone.”

“A new voice has risen”

Mr. Azubuike however, said that things are about to change: “A new voice has risen.

“A man not afraid to get his shoes dirty in the red soil of our forgotten communities.

“John Nwosu of the ADC has declared that the era of suffering in silence is over.

“Nwosu is not talking patchwork.

“He is promising a revolution in rural infrastructure with roads that will open markets, connect LGAs, revive local trade, and finally give our hardworking people access to the world beyond their villages.

“His vision is clear, a connected Anambra where prosperity flows like the River Niger, not where progress stops at the city gates.

“This is not just about asphalt. This is about dignity. About security.

“It’s about reclaiming the pride of a state known for excellence, enterprise, and resilience.

It is about telling every farmer in Ayamelum, every trader in Orumba, every student in Ihiala that you matter.

“Let those who abandoned us choke on their excuses.

“Let those who built billboards instead of roads face the judgment of a people tired of lies.

“Anambra deserves leadership that builds, not one that boasts.”

Azubuike assured that with John Nwosu, no begging for development.

“We are demanding it. And this time, the roads will not end halfway. The future will not stop at the bridge.

“Under Nwosu, Anambra will rise again , connected, empowered, unstoppable.”

He, therefore, urged the Anambra electorates to vote John Nwosu and the ADC in the governorship election coming up on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
