A water project constructed by the Anambra State Governor, Mr. Willie Obiano has crashed before the due date for commissioning.
The crash was attributed to the inferior and substandard materials used for the project which was designed to serve Governor Obiano’s community of Aguleri, Umueri and Umuoba Anam.
Our correspondent, Mr. Eneh Victor Chigozie who reported the incident told ElombahNews that every week, a project done by the Obiano-led APGA government expires.
He said: “It is a pity that every project this APGA govt did is expiring before their tenure finishes on March 17, 2022.
“Last week it was their flyover at Awka that had a defect and cracked. Yesterday, it was a water project they did at Aguleri that collapsed.
“They just finished the water project which ought to serve Aguleri, Umueri and Umuoba Anam.
“It is yet to be commissioned and it was expected to be used for November 6 governorship campaign.
“The project was substandard and thank God there was no casualty.”
