The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has officially declared Senator Hope Uzodinma, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the November 11th gubernatorial election in Imo state.
The retuning officer, professor Fashina Abayomi said the incumbent polled 540,308 votes while PDP and Labour Party came distant 2nd and 3rd respectively with 71503 votes and 64081 votes respectively.
“That Uzodinma of the APC, having certified the provisions of the law is hereby returned elected,” he said.
