Oil Tanker accident in Igede-Ekiti miraculously claims no lives

On Wednesday, January 29th, an oil tanker overturned in Igede-Ekiti, but fortunately, no one was injured.

The truck, filled with oil, lost control while navigating the area, leading to a spill that could have been catastrophic.

Hon. Gbenga Oluwatuyi, the Executive Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, expressed his condolences to the residents of Ilogbo Street.

Moreover, he commended the Ekiti State Fire Service for their rapid response. “I thank God that no lives were lost in this incident.

The fire service’s prompt action deserves recognition,” he stated.

The driver admitted to losing control of the tanker while driving through Igede-Ekiti.
