*Vows to implore senate to investigate his fraudulent activities

A Human Rights Activist and Socio-political Crusader in the state, Citizen Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha has said that the former speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu did not win the Okigwe Senate re-run election.

Citizen Iwuoha is extremely worried by the manner in which the INEC and the APC-led government in Imo State under Governor Rochas Okorocha manipulated the Okigwe Senate re-run and supplementary elections in favour of Uwajumogu.

Speaking while addressing newsmen in Owerri last week, Citizen Iwuoha stated that Chief Uwajumogu failed woefully in the election, even in his own polling booth at Ihitte Uboma LGA of the State.

He regretted the level of electoral fraud carried out by the INEC personnel in collaboration with Gov. Okorocha and security operatives to rob the PDP candidate, Senator Athan Achonu of the mandate freely given to him by the people of Okigwe zone.

According to Citizen Iwuoha, the electoral fraud is an indication and confirmation that the said Uwajumogu has always been a product of fraud, as he had earlier petitioned the former IMHA Speaker’s fraudulent practices and fetish inquisition at the EFCC, ICPC and the Nigeria  Police Force headquarters, Abuja.

The social crusader also hinted that he does not speak in favour of the PDP candidate, Senator Achonu, but in the interest of the people of Okigwe zone, who he maintained voted massively for Senator Achonu.

Voicing out his anger, Citizen Samuelson added that in a typical Mafia society, the INEC – REC who knowingly announced the fake result in favour of Uwajumogu deserves to be dealt with.

He further maintained that the Okigwe Senate re-run election is a clear manifestation of Governor Okorocha’s wicked plot to implant an unpopular and unacceptable candidate on Imo citizens as governor in the awaited 2019 general election.

The activist who was the former Senior Special Assistant on Media at the Imo State House of Assembly therefore tasked the people of Okigwe zone to resist the imposition of Uwajumogu on them as Senator, stating that Okorocha will never be allowed to impose his candidate in 2019.

Hear him:

“Come 2019 we will elect our own Governor. We will frustrate Okorocha’s plot to impose his candidate on us.

“If APC will retain the State, we will decide who the candidate will be, and not Okorocha.

“There are good aspirants in APC, just as there are good aspirants in other political Parties”.

However, as the agitation by the Human Rights personnel lingers, reports have it that Citizen Iwuoha had perfected plans to petition the Senate leadership on the inability and failure of EFCC, ICPC and Force headquarters to arraign Uwajumogu for fraud and murder allegations, despite overwhelming evidences against him.

The fearless activist vowed to cause the Senate to Summon the Anti-graft agencies and the Police to explain why Uwajumogu had not been arraigned for his crimes.

Series of Petitions on alleged financial indiscipline and murder against Chief Ben Uwajumogu are pending in the EFCC, ICPC and the Police before he was rigged in at the just concluded Okigwe Senate re-run by Governor Okorocha, Security agencies and INEC.
