Omokri blasts Archbishop Chukwuma for spreading lies against Nnamdi Kanu

A former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokri has lambasted Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma for spreading lies against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Mr. Omokri had credited a write-up making rounds on the internet to Archbishop Chukwuma.

The write-up claimed that Nnamdi Kanu was lured to Brazil under the guise that he was going to meet a woman to have a raunchy time.

However, the writer claimed that Kanu did not know that the woman is a NIA (Nigeria Intelligence Agency) operative and the hotel he was to meet her was filled with Nigerian agents.

The agents, according to the piece, caught him, injected him and whisked him away to the international airport where a private jet was waiting to bring him to Nigeria.

“This is a warning call to men who are still actively engaged in carrying strange women a.k.a. side chics.

“Another casualty of a strange woman is our one and only Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it added.

Reacting, Omokri wondered how a clergy would get himself involved in such nasty lies.

He wrote on social media: “Why would an Archbishop of the Anglican Church spread gossip about Nnamdi Kanu being lured by a woman to Brazil, then captured and tranquillised and then shipped back to Nigeria.

“Just by virtue of his revered status, Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma ought to pray for Kanu, no matter what Kanu did to him.

“Christ told us to love our enemies – Matthew 5:44.”

Comparing Nnamdi Kanu with the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami, asked Archbishop Chukwuma:

“How many Northern Muslim clerics, from the Sultan to the least Imam, condemned Isa Pantami, a man caught on tape saying he is happy when non-Muslims are killed?”

He ended by urging the Igbos to learn to love themselves the way Northern Muslims love themselves, otherwise “they will forever be the underdog of Nigeria!” he noted.
