One year anniversary: IPOB lauds ESN, says it has done well

The global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)  under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has  commended the gallantry of the men of Eastern Security Network (ESN) for what it termed “resolute defense of our ancestral land in the last one year of its inauguration”.

In a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB commended them for staking their lives for the protection and security of our mothers, wives and sisters.

He said: “Since they came on board, the murderous activities of Fulani jihadists masquerading as herdsmen have been put on check across Biafra land although there are still pockets of occasional attacks by these vampires.

“Nevertheless, IPOB worldwide is very appreciative of the ESN operatives for their gallantry and avowed commitment in protecting our land. Bravo on your one year anniversary!

“Your success story in the last one year has sent shock waves down the spine of our detractors and saboteurs. Biafrans home and abroad are very proud of you.”

Respecting those who he referred to as saboteurs sabotaging Biafra restoration efforts of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB leadership, Emma Powerful said:

“It’s clear to all that our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu inaugurated ESN on the 12th of December 2021 without these saboteurs now claiming what they did not do.

“Regrettably, those who didn’t play any role in the formation of ESN, want to take credit for what they neither knew the process of its formation nor played any role thereof.

“Today they are calling for launching of funds to create another ESN in Biafraland.

“We are calling on Biafrans both home and in the diaspora to be very weary of and shun the planned fund raising event which is a ploy by those working for the zoo politicians and the DSS to purportedly recruit 5000 youths into ESN.

“This is another ploy to deceive our people, and make them believe they are in charge of ESN in Biafraland.”

He assured Biafrans that ESN leadership is firmly under the control  of those Kanu entrusted the responsibility into their hands and will not allow saboteurs to create fake ESN to confuse and bring harm to the people.

He added: “Our people must beware of unpatriotic elements that the DSS and government of Nigeria are trying to use  to hijack ESN which is impossible to do.

“The supreme Court Administrator of Imo State Hope Uzodinma and police created unknown gunmen in Biafraland thinking they can hijack ESN and implicate them but unfortunately they hit the rocks.

“Today some  gullible Biafrans living in Europe and America are trying to hijach ESN and destroy IPOB but they won’t succeed. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be out from his current dungeon.

“Biafrans must stop giving money to inconsequential fellows who claim they are followers of Nnamdi Kanu.

“Any fund raise for ESN across the world that doesn’t have the endorsement of the Directorate of State, DOS is fake and not for ESN.  So, everybody must be very careful.

“IPOB/ESN  structure is not two but one under one central command. Anybody making any claims to the contrary is an impostor and must be rejected as such.

“IPOB will not allow such people to continue defrauding Biafran people scattered all over the world,” he concluded.

In a separate statement, the IPOB scribe urged Igbo leaders and politicians to throw their weight behind Biafra restoration instead of begging northerners to support power shift to South East in 2023.

Emma Powerful drew attention to the “unpatriotic moves by some unreliable elders in Biafraland who are begging the Alamajiri elders for President of Nigeria from Igbo stock in 2023”.

He stated categorically to the “desperate Igbo politicians both elders and self-acclaimed leaders” that IPOB under Nnamdi Kanu is not looking for any Nigeria President of Igbo extraction under the present  contraption called Nigeria.

“Again, IPOB will never be party to their begging and fawning for a transient political office at the detriment of our freedom.

“They must understand that our singular concern is the unconditional release of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“If our elders think they can use IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu to bargain their ways into political office then they are in for the shock of their life.

“We are keenly watching developments and taking record of them.

“Some self-appointed Igbo Leaders desperate for power in 2023 should refrain from  making unguarded utterances that make the entire Igbo race a laughing stock by Northerners.

“It makes no sense to be desperate over power shift in 2023 while illustrious Igbo son Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention.

“IPOB members that died did not die because of Igbo President of the Zoological Republic of Nigeria.

“What we need at this very point in time is the unconditional release of our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“It is better Igbo politicians, businessmen, elders, traditional rulers, religious leaders and acclaimed leaders including Ohaneze Ndigbo should retrace their steps and carry themselves with dignity at all times.

“They must realise that the Northern oligarchy and the Fulani cabal controlling Nigeria will never allow or support any Igbo man to become President of Nigeria.

“It doesn’t matter how such a stooge wish to please them, they have bitterness against the Igbo. So, it’s better they focus on fighting for Biafra restoration.

“Any bargains against this divine mandate will not succeed.

“We call on Igbo politicians, elders and traditional rulers including Ohaneze Ndigbo to come back; there is no road in that path they are towing.”
