The suspended Chief Judge of Nigeria [CJN], Justice Walter Onnoghen was in the dock once again at the Code of Conduct Tribunal [CCT] on Monday after a bout with High Blood Pressure and toothache.

Justice Onnoghen was at the CCT for the proceedings scheduled to commence by 10am.

The trial had been adjourned on March 12 till Monday on health grounds after his lawyers, led by Chief Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), produced a medical report showing that the embattled CJN was challenged health-wise.

The medical report also showed that his doctor recommended a bed rest for at least 72 hours.

Consequently, the tribunal led by its chairman, Danladi Umar, had adjourned till today for the commencement of trial.

Justice Onnoghen had on February 15 pleaded not guilty to the six counts of false and non-declaration of assets preferred against him by the Federal Government.
