Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, has publicly forgiven those involved in his legal ordeal over the OPL245 oil block deal.

Adoke made this declaration during the launch of his memoir, “OPL245: Inside Story of the $1.3 Billion Nigerian Oil Block,” in Abuja.

Adoke stated that he has forgiven everyone involved in his legal battles over the OPL245 deal.

He emphasized that the book aims to set the record straight about his role in the oil deal, rather than attacking or ridiculing anyone.

Adoke described the book as a way to share his story and experiences, saying, “This book is not written to denigrate or mock anyone. It is to tell my story — the truth as I lived and experienced it.”

The OPL245 transaction is one of Nigeria’s most controversial oil deals, involving a $1.3 billion deal that has led to years of investigations and prosecution.

Adoke faced intense scrutiny and legal battles over his role in the deal during his tenure as Attorney-General under President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
