Recent insecurity
Diaspora Digital Media gathered that Oro Nation had become plagued by kidnapping, piracy, and cultism.
These vices undermine security and stability. Kidnappings target locals, travelers, and businesspeople.
These incidents are often perpetrated by suspected cult groups, pirate gangs, and militant organizations seeking ransom or territorial control.
The impact is devastating, with the local economy suffering, residents living in fear, and social activities disrupted.
Pirate attacks on fishing vessels and cargo ships also occur in coastal areas, disrupting the livelihoods of fishermen and traders.
Cult groups perpetrate violent crimes in urban centers, recruiting youth from schools and communities. The presence of these groups has become a persistent threat to the safety and well-being of Oro Nation’s residents.
