Osimhen strikes record Napoli €81m sign on deal

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has struck a transfer deal with Italian Serie A football club side, Napoli, with a record €81 million sign on fee.

Osimhen joined the Italian giants for an African record fee of €81 million according to report obtained by ElombahNews.

Napoli announced the signing of Osimhen from French Ligue 1 side Lille, on Friday on their Twitter handle.

The Italian giants tweeted: “Welcome to Napoli, Victor.”

On his part, the U-17 World Cup winner expressed readiness to take on the new challenge at Napoli.

He tweeted:

His former club, Lille also confirmed the move in its tweet:

Lille had, on July 7 declared the day “International Victor Osimhen Day”.

The club tweeted: “We declare today’s date, 07/07, International @victorosimhen9 Day.”

FIFA also confirmed the move on its Twitter handle:
