Osinbajo attends 20th Oslo Forum hosted by Norwegian Govt

Former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo attending the 20th Oslo Forum in Oslo, the capital of Norway

Prof. Osinbajo disclosed this on his Twitter handle, @ProfOsinbajo, on Tuesday, June 13.

Speaking about the event, Osinbao said: “It is an opportunity to speak with decision makers, experts, peace process actors and reflect on the practice of mediation.”

Meanwhile, he had earlier had a pleasurable dinner last night with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs: HE Anniken Huitfeldt, Phumzile Mlambo -Ngcuka (Former Deputy President of South Africa), Ahmed Fiqi (Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Somalia), Alvaro Durán (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia), Isidro L. Purisima (Acting Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity in the Philippines).

“I look forward to frank conversations and fruitful deliberations,” he tweeted.

In the meantime, however, his former principal, the immediate-past president of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, hardly makes public appearance.

According to a source, Alhaji Buhari is reportedly lying low in his hometown, Daura in Katsina State.

The last that was seen or heard from him was on June 3, 2023, when he submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), in line with Chapter 6 of the constitution.

Apart from this, Buhari is in Daura attending to his cows.

The completed CCB assets declaration form shows that his movable assets did not increase, at home in Nigeria or outside and did not add new bank accounts outside the only one he had in Union Bank, Kaduna.

It also shows that the number of animals in his farm, instead of increasing, recorded a little decrease due to the number he gave out as gifts in the last four years. Read more.
