The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) has accused Emeka Ihedioha, Emeka Nwajiuba, Uche Onyeagucha, and Ralph Nwosu of hijacking the South East zonal chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and working against the interests of Ndigbo in the 2027 presidential election.

The socio-cultural organization in a statement issued by its president general, Igboayaka O Igboayaka, which a copy was made available to Diaspora Digital Media, said that they had “identified a pernicious plot by the Fulani political aristocracy to compromise the interests of Ndigbo in the 2027 general election.”

OYC revealed that they had uncovered a plot by Ihedioha, Nwajiuba, Onyeagucha and Nwosu to allegedly replace the current ADC National Vice chairman for South East, Chilos Godsent with Bon Unachukwu.

Mr. Unachukwu was lands commissioner under the administration of Emeka Ihedioha.

OYC said that if the new chieftains of ADC succeed in replacing Godsent with Unachukwu, it now means that they had succeeded in working with non Igbo politicians to sabotage the 2027 presidential ambition of the South East zone.

The statement reads: “the Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the pinnacle sociocultural youth organization of the Igbo Race worldwide, has identified a pernicious plot by the Fulani political aristocracy to compromise the interests of Ndigbo in the 2027 general election.

“Following an emergency meeting of the Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) on Wednesday, 30th July 2023, certain political oppressors and profiteers who have held Alaigbo in a state of political servitude and slavery have reportedly obtained a political contract from desperate Fulani politicians aimed at undermining the political progress and development of Ndigbo.

“Reports indicate a purported high-level political conspiracy involving Chief Raph Nwosu, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Hon. Uche Onyeaguocha, and Hon. Nwajuba aimed at replacing Comrade Chilos Godsent, the current ADC National Vice Chairman SouthEast, with one fulani political stooge Mr. Bon Unachukwu as the new National Vice Chairman SouthEast.

“If the reported plot to substitute Comrade Chilos Godsent with Mr. Bon Unachukwu as ADC National Vice Chairman SouthEast holds truth, this indicates that Raph Nwosu former ADC National Chairman, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Uche Onyeaguocha, and Hon Emeka Nwajuba have forged a new political alliance with Fulani politicians, thereby jeopardizing Ndigbo’s interests in the 2027 presidential election for personal political advantages.

“We respectfully call upon Chief Raph Nwosu, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, Hon Emeka Nwajuba, and Hon. Uche Onyeaguocha and their Co-conspirators to discontinue their pursuit of unholy conspiracy of removing Comrade Chilos Godsent, the current ADC National Vice Chairman SouthEast from Imo State.

“The conspiracy and evil decision to remove Comrade Chilos Godsent as the bonafide ADC National Vice Chairman, Southeast, following ” a Tea Cup” meeting in Abuja, is undemocratic and unacceptable by the over ten million Nigerian Youths. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) must respect and uphold internal party democratic processes to avoid losing relevance, especially among the young generation of Igbo extraction in Igboland.

“The African Democratic Congress (ADC) must avoid the perception that the political flaws of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are encroaching upon the ADC in South East Zone at this early juncture. The socio-political scourge of consigning the young Igbo generation to the periphery of politics and impeding their advancement in Igboland will be resolutely opposed by millions of Igbo Youths and progressive minded people across the Southeast Geopolitical Zone.

“This class of men have been recycling themselves in political power for 24 years, with Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha serving in the House of Representatives and as Deputy Speaker for 12 years without yielding significant results for Ndigbo, Hon. Emeka Nwajuba has held power for 20 years, Hon Uche Onyeaguocha has been in power since 2003, and Bon Unachukwu has been roaming the corridors of power since 2003, yet they quickly sabotage the growth of Igbo Youths. We’re therefore, closely watching Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha Hon Emeka Nwajuba Hon Uche Onyeaguocha and Chief Raph Nwosu

“In the event that this political injustice against Comrade Chilos Godsent and Igbo Youths prevails, ADC will have drawn a long-term political battle line, sparking chaos with young Igbo political liberators and groups in Igboland who are yearning against decades of political marginalization against Ndigbo and will vehemently resist Raph Nwosu, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, Uche Onyeaguocha, Hon Emeka Nwajuba and Bon Unachukwu former House member and commissioner of lands Imo state.

“As a result, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) indulges in unchecked impunity and elitist misbehavior, it will lead us to proscribe ADC in Southeast by every conceivable means.”
