Widespread panic has gripped Anambra over the ongoing medical outreach being undertaken by the Army in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
Elombah.com was made to understand that the exercise is part of Army social responsibility to members of the public.
However, strong apprehension among the populace has followed the exercise leading to withdrawal of students from schools by parents, misconception of the actual motive behind the exercise by stakeholders, community leaders and a general reservation by the public for whom the outreach is intended.
Commentators has blamed the state government and the army for failing to enlighten the public about the medical outreach programme being carried out by the Nigeria military.

The predominant news in Anambra is that the pandemonium in the state, which was as a result of Army medical outreach programme, was instigated by the State government to give APC a bad name.
Though I do not believe in the rumour, but have you noticed that whenever the state is faced with any little challenge, the failure of governance becomes obvious?
If it were Peter Obi this or that, ABS would have been repeating the news every five minutes. Mr. Egbuna Amuta would have gone round all the local stations raining abuses in all directions.
The news in town sent panic to the entire state, yet ABS has not said anything about it nor Government issued any release to set the records straight.
If this is not failure of leadership, what is?
