The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] has hailed the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over his resignation from the All Progressives Congress [APC].
Elombah.com had earlier today, reported that the former Vice President has officially resigned his membership of APC.
In a statement he released this morning Atiku said he was leaving the APC because of arbitrariness and unconstitutionality prevalent in the party.
In its twitter handle, PDP said it “received the news of the resignation of the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar from the APC with joy.”
The former ruling party also said that its members “are happy that he has come to the realization that APC is a fraud and he is welcome back to his home, the PDP.”
