Content creator Peller has stirred fresh reactions online following a controversial statement about education, wealth, and his personal success story.
In a recent outburst, Peller revealed that he once proposed paying a graduate cameraman ₦1 million monthly but was heavily criticised for it at the time.
“I proposed giving a graduate cameraman 1m naira monthly and I was dragged online,” he said, expressing frustration over the backlash he received.
He went further to criticise recent narratives around graduate employment, referencing suggestions that young graduates should consider small-scale businesses.
“Now the government is saying graduates should sell akara,” he added.
Highlighting his financial activities, Peller claimed he gives out as much as ₦15 million monthly through his giveaways, suggesting that his success challenges conventional expectations about formal education.
“When I checked my giveaway bank, I give out 15M monthly,” he stated.
The influencer also reflected on his personal journey, revealing that he dropped out of school in SS3 due to financial struggles.
“I don’t know how I got this far because I dropped out in SS3 because of lack of money,” he said.
In a remark that has drawn mixed reactions, Peller appeared to mock the value of academic qualifications in certain contexts.
“Before I buy akara, I will ask for your certificate,” he said.
