Joyce Wigwe, the sister of the late Herbert Wigwe, has lamented that those the family thought would represent the interest of the late banker have betrayed him.
She spoke to TVC News on the sidelines of the one year anniversary of Herbert Wigwe’s death in a helicopter crash in the United States of America, alongside his wife and son.
Joyce Wigwe said the sorrow of the loss of Herbert had been heavy on his aged parents, adding that it had been doubled by the betrayal by those the family trusted as part of the family.
Joyce said Herbert brought Tochi and Uche Wigwe into the family and treated them like brothers, positioning them as representatives of the family in his affairs.
She lamented that they had, however turned against the family and treated them like strangers.
She alleged that they came to the memorial with fully armed, masked security officials conveyed in no fewer than 10 cars.
