Peter Obi donates ₦10 million to Bauchi nursing school

(DDM) – Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, visited the School of Nursing in Bauchi today, donating ₦10 million to support their operations.

DDM gathered that Obi’s visit was part of his ongoing outreach to educational and healthcare institutions across Nigeria.

The former Anambra State governor commended the school’s management and students for their dedication to training future healthcare professionals.

He stressed that investment in nursing education was critical to addressing Nigeria’s growing healthcare needs.

According to Obi, well-trained nurses play an essential role in safeguarding community health and improving patient care nationwide.

He urged both the government and the private sector to prioritise funding for medical training institutions.
