Peter Obi, Yusuf Datti visit ex-president Goodluck Jonathan

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti, have visited the former president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan.

The former Anambra State governor confirmed the visit in a short statement posted on his official Facebook page.

Obi in what he described as a cordial visit said they briefed the Niger Delta born politician on the progress of their presidential campaign and also exchanged ideas on issues of national interest.

He said, “President Goodluck Jonatha received Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed and I, last night. The visit was very cordial. We briefed him on the progress of our presidential campaign, and also exchanged views on several issues of national interest. Grateful for his time and wise counsel.
