Nigerian music star Peter Okoye has reacted to growing excitement among fans over a potential collaboration involving Davido and American singer Chris Brown.
The singer, one half of the defunct Psquare duo, recently released a new single titled I Can’t Look Away, which has been gaining traction online.
Media personality Do2dtun stirred conversation on X after suggesting that Davido should jump on the track alongside Chris Brown for a remix.
“If Davido wants to finish work, he should just summon Chris Brown to enter this @PeterPsquare ‘I can’t look away’ song and do a remix … it’s over! It’s a jam Chris will easily nail: it should now have a full-on dance routine and video… damn! Imagination wants to finish me, but it’s possible,” he wrote.
Reacting to the suggestion, Peter replied with hammer emojis, signaling his approval and openness to the idea.
The excitement comes shortly after Peter expressed gratitude to fans for the overwhelming support his new single has received. In a recent note, he shared how much the love and encouragement mean to him, saying he “couldn’t look away.”
Earlier this year, the father of two also gave fans a glimpse into his dedication to his craft, sharing a photo of himself asleep in the studio at 3 a.m. He highlighted the unseen sacrifices behind success and encouraged others to trust the process, assuring that hard work eventually pays off.
In another reflective moment, Peter shared a throwback video with Nigerian football legend Mikel Obi, revealing that he once pursued both football and music. However, he said destiny ultimately led him to music, a path that has now made him a successful and established artiste. He attributed his journey and achievements to grace.
