Police authorities in Adamawa State have declared Fatima Abubakar missing after she left her home in Yola South around 9am on Friday, July 18, 2025, and never returned.

A public alert issued by Adamawa Police Command and shared by security analyst Zagozola Makama, appealed to anyone with information of her whereabouts to report to the authorities.

The notice, which was signed by the command spokesman, Suleiman Nguroje, reads: “MISSING PERSON ALERT – ADAMAWA STATE
“Name: Fatima AbubakarAge: Approximately 14 years

“Residential Address: No. 19, State Low Cost, Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State.

“Fatima Abubakar was reported missing after she left her home at about 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 18th July 2025, and has not been seen since.

“Members of the public with any useful information regarding her whereabouts are kindly urged to assist in locating her.

“If seen or found, please contact:• Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa State Police Command• Mr. Abubakar Wakili Abba.

“Your cooperation in helping to trace Fatima is highly appreciated.”

Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, authorities are continuing efforts to locate Fatima and are counting on public support to bring her home safely.
