The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr Yussuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, yesterday paid visit to the British High Commissioner, Catriona Laing.
Though, the reason for the visit is not known but, it appears to be part of the ongoing consultation of stakeholders across the board by the former governor of Anambra ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The visit comes after he also visited the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Thamsanqa Dennis Mseleku two days ago.
However, while announcing their visit to the British High Commissioner, Peter Obi in a statement posted on his Facebook page said, “Yesterday, with my dear brother and able running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed. We met with the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, HE Catriona Laing and her colleagues.”
