Pictures of the lady who was brutally beheaded by his gospel singer boyfriend, Mr. Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, has surfaced online.
At the time of filing this report, the name of the victim is not known but a source told News Band Newspaper that she is from Igala and lives in Nyaya.
Moreover, Ajayi who was nabbed with the head of his girlfriend in Abuja on Sunday, is reportedly a lead vocalist of a church in Abuja.
He even released an album, The God of All the Earth in 2020.
Ajayi’s stage name is Timileyin, and he is affiliated with ‘The Seed of Prosperity Ministry’ in Abuja, founded by Bishop Dreamson Ikponmwosa.
Meanwhile, during interrogation, Ajayi claimed he had dated the girlfriend he dismembered for about one year.
This medium reported that some Christians during a church service in Orozo, Abuja, apprehended Ajayi with the fresh head of his girlfriend in a sack.
Umaru Caleb, a Facebook user disclosed the unfortunate incident in a post on his page.
He said another member of the church felt a strong urge to intercept the suspect while walking past the church and demanded to see what he was carrying in the sack.
Upon looking inside, he saw the freshly cut head of a beautiful lady who had just done what the women call ‘million braids’.
The church member raised an alarm and others trooped out immediately.
The suspect was beaten mercilessly and interrogated about how he came about the head.
He reportedly said the deceased was his girlfriend who had come to visit him from a far place.
Ajayi also claimed the remaining part of the body was in his house.
Caleb in his post said, “💔 I got the shock of my life as we apprehend a Yahoo ritualist with human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon close to our church as we were holding service.
“I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one “Live” today.
“And this guy said the remaining body of the girl is still in his house.
“God have mercy on this generation
“You can see a video of where the head of the fair-complexioned lady was brought out of the bag below”.
Though, it could not be established yet where he was taking the head, but it is speculated that he was taking it to a location for ritual.
Meanwhile, police authorities in Abuja are yet to issue an official statement in respect to the development.
