Police Detonates High Calibre Military Bomb Planted By Herdsmen
Men of the Explosive Ordinance Device unit (EOD) of the Nigerian police force in Adamawa State have exploded a UXO high caliber 68mm type 25 FIB Bomb found in the bush today in Shaforon Village, Numan.
The high caliber bomb was found by a teenager who picked it up and brought it to the village before the police were alerted to which EOD personnel Led by CSP Okpara Justin demolished it.
The Bomb according to experts could have exploded when it comes in contact with Heat impact and friction.
People are hereby advised to desist from bush Burning or the usage of sharp object on the farm.
This is the second time a military Bomb has been found around the villages attacked by Fulani herdsmen a week ago.
The first was found and detonated on December 7 at Wayam in Kodomti.
