Police investigate disappearance of Ekiti female teenagers

The police in Ekiti State have launched investigations to unravel the whereabouts of two female teenagers missing since last month.

The spokesman of Ekiti State Command, Sunday Abutu, named the two missing persons as Miss Aderukuola Adedayo and Miss Omowumi Hassan.

Abutu said in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday that “one Aderukuola Nifemi Adedayo of Idifi Street, Aramoko Ekiti, left home on December 14, 2024 and has not returned since then.

“She is 16 years old, dark in complexion, has no tribal mark, speaks Yoruba and English languages fluently.

“Similarly, one Hassan Omowumi of No 16, Akinlabi Street, Adebayo, Ado Ekiti, left home on 26/12/2024 and has not returned since then.

“She is 17 years old, fair in complexion, has no tribal mark, four feet tall, speaks the Yoruba language fluently”.

Abutu said, “The command has commenced an investigation to unravel their whereabouts. Anyone with useful information about them should kindly contact the nearest Police Station or call 09064050086.”.
